Michael Sloan has been performing and directing comedy improvisation for over 18 years. He studied comedy improvisation under the late Gloria Policare in the mid-1990's. He co-founded April's Fools in 1997 with April Scott. April's Fools, which boasts a wide array of troupe members trained in comedy improvisation, sketch comedy, and stand-up comedy, continues to enjoy commercial success since its inception.

A virtuoso at making every foreign language sound like Swedish, he adds comic imagination to every improvisation. He has performed in several LA venues, cable TV, and Renaissance Faires. He has also choreographed swordplay for film and stage.
